I love this.
The PEN Story, is a video created by Olympus (the camera company) which portrays; ‘a story describing “a journey through time” based on printed image’
The video itself is an amazing example of stop-motion design. They shot 60,000 pictures, developed 9,600 prints and shot over 1,800 pictures again with no post production.
However, Olympus aren’t as creative as they think. Here’s “A wolf loves pork” another stop-motion video by Mr Taijin Takeuchi.
Olympus said they were ‘inspired’ by this particular piece. Once again the thin-line between inspiration and plagiarism grows smaller…
